The Værløse strap is a tribute to Flyvestation Værløse, the former Danish military airbase where our founder’s grandfather, Ib Jelsdal, worked as a blacksmith.

The Covert Grey colourway draws inspiration from the understated world of military operations and classic espionage. A distinctive combination of black, grey and a subtle yellow accent gives the strap a character that is both functional and refined, discreet enough for everyday wear, yet unmistakably military in spirit.

Made from premium soft and finely woven 1.2 mm nylon, the Værløse uses a classic single-pass construction. With only one layer of nylon beneath the watch, the case sits close to the wrist, creating a slim, lightweight and comfortable fit.

The strap can be paired with different stainless steel buckle finishes, including brushed, polished and matt black. This allows the Covert Grey colourway to work equally well with vintage field watches, modern tool watches and contemporary divers.

With 13 adjustment holes and a total length of 27 cm without the buckle, the strap offers a versatile fit across a wide range of wrists.

The Værløse Covert Grey is a modern interpretation of the classic military strap, inspired by military aviation, influenced by the discreet world of espionage and rooted in the Danish heritage of JELSDAL.
