The Værløse strap is a tribute to Flyvestation Værløse, the former Danish military airbase where our founder’s grandfather, Ib Jelsdal, worked as a blacksmith.

That connection is at the heart of the Værløse collection. Inspired by the functional simplicity of classic military aviation straps, it combines durable materials, understated design and the kind of practical craftsmanship that belongs to another era.

Military Green is the classic field colour, timeless, understated and purpose-built. Its deep green tone works naturally with field watches, divers and military-inspired timepieces, while remaining versatile enough for everyday wear.

The strap is made from premium soft and flat 1.2 mm nylon, giving it a comfortable feel while maintaining the durability expected from a military-inspired strap. Its single-pass construction uses only one layer of nylon beneath the watch, allowing the case to sit closer to the wrist than a traditional two-layer-style strap.

The strap is finished with black hardware, available in both matte brushed and polished finishes. The dark hardware gives the Military Green nylon a particularly purposeful and contemporary appearance.

With 13 adjustment holes and a total length of 27 cm without the buckle, the Værløse is designed to provide a secure and comfortable fit across a wide range of wrists.

The Værløse Military Green is more than a military-inspired watch strap. It is a tribute to Danish military aviation, traditional craftsmanship and a family story that began at Flyvestation Værløse.
