The Værløse strap is a tribute to Flyvestation Værløse, the former Danish military airbase where our founder’s grandfather, Ib Jelsdal, worked as a blacksmith.

The Shadow Ops colourway takes inspiration from the darker side of military equipment, understated, functional and built without unnecessary decoration. Black and grey create a discreet combination with a distinctly tactical character, making it an ideal match for field watches, tool watches and modern military-inspired timepieces.

Made from premium soft and flat 1.2 mm nylon, the Værløse uses a classic single-pass construction. With only one layer of nylon underneath the watch, the case sits closer to the wrist than with a traditional two-layer-style strap. The result is a slim, lightweight and comfortable strap designed for everyday wear.

The strap is fitted with black hardware, available in matte brushed or polished finishes. The dark hardware completes the Shadow Ops aesthetic and gives the strap a clean, purposeful appearance.

With 13 adjustment holes and a total length of 27 cm without the buckle, the strap provides a versatile fit across a wide range of wrists.

The Værløse Shadow Ops is more than a military-inspired watch strap. It connects JELSDAL's Danish heritage and family history with the timeless functionality of classic military equipment.
