The København collection pays tribute to Holmen in Copenhagen, the historic heart of the Royal Danish Navy, and to a personal chapter in the JELSDAL family story.

After the Second World War, our founder’s grandfather, Ib Jelsdal, completed his military training at Holmen. Surrounded by naval vessels, workshops and generations of Danish craftsmen, he began a chapter of his life that continues to inspire JELSDAL today.

The Admiralty Grey colourway draws directly from the understated character of naval equipment. Its deep grey tone is purposeful, timeless and versatile, pairing naturally with everything from vintage military watches to modern divers and tool watches.

The strap is made from premium sailcloth nylon, chosen for its distinctive woven texture, durability and maritime character. A soft genuine waterproof leather lining on the underside provides a comfortable feel against the wrist while adding structure and refinement.

Two keepers secure the strap, while quick-release spring bars make changing straps fast and effortless. Eight protected adjustment holes allow for a precise and comfortable fit.

The stainless-steel JELSDAL buckle is available in Brushed Black, Polished Black, and Matte Black, giving you the flexibility to match the strap to your watch.

The København Admiralty Grey is a modern interpretation of the classic naval-inspired watch strap — rooted in Danish history, inspired by Holmen and made for everyday wear.
