The København collection pays tribute to Holmen in Copenhagen, the historic heart of the Royal Danish Navy, and to a personal chapter in the JELSDAL family story.

After the Second World War, our founder’s grandfather, Ib Jelsdal, completed his military training at Holmen. The same place that shaped generations of Danish sailors now serves as the inspiration for a collection built around naval heritage, craftsmanship and enduring functionality.

The Military Green colourway reflects the traditional character of military and naval equipment. Its deep green tone is understated and versatile, pairing naturally with field watches, divers and rugged tool watches while adding a distinctly Scandinavian character.

The strap is constructed from durable, high-quality sailcloth nylon, chosen for its strength and distinctive woven texture. On the underside, a soft genuine waterproof leather lining provides a comfortable feel against the wrist while adding structure and refinement.

Two keepers secure the strap, while quick-release spring bars make changing your watch strap fast and effortless. Eight protected adjustment holes allow for a precise and comfortable fit.

The stainless-steel JELSDAL buckle is available in several finishes, including Brushed Black, Polished Black and Matte Black, allowing you to match the strap to almost any watch.

The København Military Green is a modern interpretation of the classic naval-inspired strap, rooted in Danish history, inspired by Holmen and designed for everyday wear.
