The København collection pays tribute to Holmen in Copenhagen, the historic home of the Royal Danish Navy, and to a personal chapter in the JELSDAL family story.

After the Second World War, our founder’s grandfather, Ib Jelsdal, completed his military training at Holmen. Surrounded by naval vessels, workshops and generations of Danish craftsmen, he began a chapter of his life that continues to inspire JELSDAL today.

The Navy Blue colourway reflects the timeless character of naval uniforms and maritime equipment. Deep, understated and unmistakably nautical, it is a versatile choice for everything from classic dress watches to modern divers and rugged tool watches.

The strap is made from premium sailcloth nylon, chosen for its durability and distinctive woven texture. A soft genuine waterproof leather lining on the underside provides a comfortable feel against the wrist while adding structure and refinement.

Two keepers secure the strap, while quick-release spring bars make changing straps fast and effortless. Eight protected adjustment holes allow for a precise and comfortable fit.

The stainless-steel JELSDAL buckle is available in Brushed Black, Polished Black, and Matte Black, allowing you to match the strap to your watch.

The København Navy Blue is a modern interpretation of the classic naval-inspired watch strap, rooted in Danish history, inspired by Holmen and designed for everyday wear.
