The København collection pays tribute to Holmen in Copenhagen, the historic heart of the Royal Danish Navy and a place with a personal connection to the JELSDAL family.

For centuries, Holmen was the centre of Danish naval life, home to the fleet, shipyards, workshops and the craftsmen who built and maintained Denmark's naval vessels. It was here, after the Second World War, that our founder's grandfather, Ib Jelsdal, completed his military training.

The Blackout version brings the restrained character of naval equipment to a modern, premium watch strap. Its deep black sailcloth construction is purposeful and understated, pairing naturally with tool watches, dive watches and contemporary sports watches.

The durable sailcloth exterior is combined with a genuine waterproof leather lining, creating a comfortable surface against the wrist while adding structure and a refined feel. Two keepers secure the strap, while quick-release spring bars make changing your strap fast and effortless.

With eight protected adjustment holes, the strap provides a precise and comfortable fit. A stainless-steel JELSDAL buckle completes the design and is available in Matte Black, Brushed Black or Polished Black.

The København Blackout is more than a sailcloth watch strap. It is a tribute to Danish naval heritage, traditional craftsmanship and a personal family connection to Holmen, where Ib Jelsdal began his military service.
