The København collection pays tribute to Holmen in Copenhagen, the historic home of the Royal Danish Navy, and to a personal chapter in the JELSDAL family story.

After the Second World War, our founder’s grandfather, Ib Jelsdal, completed his military training at Holmen. Surrounded by naval vessels, workshops and generations of Danish craftsmanship, he began a chapter of his life that continues to inspire JELSDAL today.

The Sandstone colourway brings a warm, natural character to the classic sailcloth strap. Its understated beige tone is inspired by the muted colours of traditional maritime equipment, canvas and weathered coastal surroundings. Versatile and refined, Sandstone works equally well with vintage watches, field watches, divers and modern everyday timepieces.

The strap is crafted from premium sailcloth nylon, chosen for its durability and distinctive woven texture. A soft, genuine waterproof leather lining provides a comfortable feel against the wrist while adding structure and refinement.

Two keepers secure the strap, while quick-release spring bars make changing straps fast and effortless. Eight protected adjustment holes allow for a precise and comfortable fit.

The stainless-steel JELSDAL buckle, featuring the JELSDAL logo, is available in several finishes, including Brushed Black, Polished Black and Matte Black.
